Still with the health issues. I forage on, convinced if I eliminate several of my unfinished-projects, life must improve. I thought I'd gotten to the end of my knit list, but today uncovered one more. So glad I didn't fall off the edge of the world.
However, this, my next-to-last unfinished project (for now at least) is a sweater I started for my son (who is now ten) and planned to make it a little big (for a four year old) so you can tell how long it's been buried. I used a different gauge yarn and tried to adjust it, but of course didn't take too many notes. Just a few sporadic notations, so my hope it that it will fit a nephew. That's my hope.
The front and back are now done and the arms only need a couple inches. I'll show it again when it's finished because the recipient is too young to read my blog. I'd stopped midway through one side when I realized that my boy was never actually going to wear a sweater. I'd made a couple for the girls and they tried, valiantly, but we're not in real sweater country. The boy is wearing shorts to school and we've had only one hard freeze. I wear sweaters, but then I'm always cold. But then I don't run around until my face is red. Or if I did, it certainly wouldn't take very long.
I blather. Not much posting. So sorry. No stomach for it. (ha!)
