Taking stock of projects that I am or have been working on. This is a fingerless glove that I made from natty old felted sweater sleeves. It was a little scratchy around my wrists so I tacked in some old t-shirt remnants. I use them in the car.
And I realized that my project journal was missing a picture of this finished project. It resides on my couch.
Making duplicate moebius scarves. Hoping the recipients of these actually like them.
This needs hemming but it spent most of the summer on a hanger, so progress is being made.
The project above looks both florescent in this light and a hot mess. It is neither. Well, it's not florescent. We'll see about the mess.
And finally this scarf which was a Christmas gift last year for one of my sweeties.
All of these will be making their way into my project book. Not that you need to know all of this, but heck, it's all part of the process.
Tomorrow I go to my first ever chess tournament. A handsome young man I know will be competing. I won't be allowed in the room while the pieces are being moved to make sure I don't give strategy tips. Instead I will be sitting in the chair I plan to bring to be kind to my back, giggling at the thought that I know anything about chess strategy and sneaking pieces of chocolate that I have already hidden in my knitting bag. Giggling me, chocolate and my hot mess. Good times.
