I keep thinking I'm going to get back to a rythym and start posting regularly again. And it keeps not happening. However, despite not posting, I have been able to keep sketching almost daily. I am continuing little "everyday matters" sketches and the dividend is that I see more and more to sketch, even in my same-old same-old spaces.
You may not be following it as closely as me, but I am enthralled with the Women's World Cup (in soccer/football). I am not enthralled with the US team even though I want to be, but I am enjoying watching all the teams, their different styles of play, their personalities.
I bring it up, because between that and the Copa America (that I'm not watching as closely, but in fits and starts) I've been restricted to good viewing venues. Witness the sketch of the remote for our TIVO.
At some time I hope to do a flip through with this (probably not till my technical support returns from summer camp but hopefully after that) because I enjoy the look of the ever all book. A commercially bound journal doesn't have the visual appeal of a hand done reconstructed book, but for right now, I'm loving the way it's working for me. I'm holding on to anything that makes sketching easier or more fun.
